We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the People team. Someone who brings energy to work every single day, goes out and finds great people before they find us, and represents Macadam with the kind of enthusiasm that makes candidates want to be part of this. This isn't a role where you wait for inbound. You'll own your pipelines, run your processes end-to-end, and show up as the first face of Macadam for every candidate you meet.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a driven, outbound-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team. This is a pure execution role: you'll spend your days in the trenches: searching, messaging, engaging, and building pipelines of top talent across all our teams.

You'll own the full sourcing process end-to-end, from identifying the right profiles to getting them excited about Macadam. Your mission: finding great people before they find us.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end recruitment processes across Engineering, Data, Product, Design, and Operations roles.

• Proactively source and headhunt candidates through every channel available: LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and whatever creative angle gets results. Outbound is your default.

• Send high volumes of personalized outreach daily and own your response and conversion rates.

• Conduct a high number of screening and qualification interviews every week.

• Partner with hiring managers across the business to understand what great looks like for each role and build trust through consistent delivery.

• Drive candidates through the full process, from first message to signed offer, ensuring an outstanding experience at every step.

• Keep candidate data clean and pipelines well-documented in our ATS.

• Share sourcing insights and market intelligence to help us stay ahead of the curve.

• Contribute to how Macadam shows up as an employer: from how we communicate on LinkedIn to how candidates experience every interaction with us. There's real ground to build here.

• Support broader People & HR initiatives when required, including onboarding, employee experience, and people-related projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 1 to 3 years of experience in recruitment or sourcing, ideally in a tech startup or agency with a focus on tech profiles.

• Outbound-first mentality: you love the hunt and you don't wait for inbound.

• Strong command of LinkedIn and Boolean search; experience with other sourcing tools is a plus.

• Comfortable reaching out to passive candidates with creative, personalized messaging.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously without dropping the ball.

• Detail-oriented and disciplined about ATS hygiene and data quality.

• Good communicator in English (working language); Spanish or French are a bonus.

• Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-moving, international environment.

This role is based in Barcelona. We're looking for candidates who are already living in the city or ready to relocate.
